BIG NEWS!!!

I am 17 weeks pregnant. My husband and I are very excited that we will be having another baby, due July 9, 2006. We have not told Benjamin yet. Because time is such a difficult concept for a two-year old, we are going to wait until I am about 20 weeks pregnant to tell him. Our plan right now is to have the baby in America, because my husband's cousin is getting married on June 24, and we want to be there for the wedding. So, Benjamin and I will be leaving Japan around the middle of May to stay with my sister and her husband in Texas. My husband will be leaving Japan around the first of June to join us. Then we will stay there with my sister until the baby is born, and probably a month afterwards. Thank you for sharing in this news with us.

あっというまの１時間。会場準備、片付け、お菓子配り、ごみの片付け、皆様のご協力ありがとうございました。感謝いたします。

次回レッスンは１月３１日（火）１０時からとなります。
今回からレッスン内容をグレードアップしようと思っています。
そのため、なるべく早い時間からはじめたいので、
時間に余裕を持ってお出かけください。
まだまだ寒いと思いますが、多数のご参加をお待ちしています。

メンバーで欠席する方は、加藤宛にメールでお知らせください。

です。会場の都合で、また午後が一日入ってしまいました。

英語の歌が入っているCDを販売しましたが、
そのうちの何人かから、音が飛んでしまうといわれました。
その方々には次回お取替えしますので、
大変お手数ですが、持ってきてくださいね。

そのほかにもCDの不具合がありましたら、お知らせください。

New Year's Resolution
Many American's make a New Year's Resolution at the beginning of a new year. Because of the new year, people feel a determination to make a commitment to do something different. The definition of New Year's Resolution is: any decision to begin or end something, as a habit, at the beginning of a new year.
This could be a decision involving health, such as a diet or exercise program. It could be a resolution to save money, or spend more time with family. Some people write their resolutions or goals on paper and put them in a sealed envelope to open at the end of the year to see their progress. New Year's Resolutions offer many possibilities to anyone wanting to make a change for the new year.

1/9　10：00-11：00　沼間公民館にて

初めてフリータイムレッスンを行いました。
年始早々、祝日、寒い日ということもあり、
2組のみの参加でしたが、
ママも子供たちも積極的にJillに話しかけ、
さながらママの英会話スクールのようでした。

Mちゃんは、とても積極的に話してましたね！
アメリカ人のしつけの話、Jillの日本での生活などなど。
じっくり話せてよかった、といってくれました。

そして、ファミリーで参加のKさん！
4人のお子さんはとても人懐っこく、Jillさんと一生懸命
お話していました。
ママもパパも、Jillさんと子育てについてお話していましたね。

今回は残念ながら参加が少なかったですが、
もし希望があれば、このような機会をまた作っていこうとおもいます。

今日は午後にレッスンですが、
今後はなるべく午前中にやりたいと思っています。
